At the age of only two his parents divorced and he was to live with his Mother Elizabeth and court ordered that he only see his father four days a month. Living with his mother he moved a lot and attended many different public schools and never seemed to find his place at any of them. Always being looked at as the quiet kid and hated on by his peers due to his choice of hip hop style. He attended Westdale Public School in Napanee, Ontario and like usual was much different than the rest of kids. Living in a town where it was mostly farms he never seemed to fit in but refused to be bullied by his fellow class mates and while sticking up for himself after a dispute was hospitalized after being attacked by many classmates and suffering many blows to the head by steel toed boots and dragged through the mud. After being released he moved in with his father at the age of thirteen and finally found a school that accepted him for him.
While attending Frontenac Public School he used to write simple rhymes after school and constantly watch music videos, This was his way of studying what was most popular to talk about in music, but it wasn’t until grade 9 where he found to be yourself always pays off in the end.
He went to Queen Elizabeth Collegiate and Vocational Institute (Q.E.C.V.I.) for his short lived high school years. While living with his father his world fell apart when he received a phone call and learned that his father K. A. Peters had passed away at the young age of thirty-seven. With no one to turn to Top Prozpekt fell into a life spiralling downwards and knew he needed to step his life up onto a new stage and commit and dedicate his life, he should give himself a chance and be true to his real following music and eventually get success and respect. He felt like his life was going out of control and thought he needed to focus on his future in music. He truly believes he was born to do, hoped the world be able to discover and appreciate his music and hoped for great success and moneys to secure his future for his family and himself. But waking up one day everything changed, he wasn’t the same person he fell asleep as and knew he had to change his life around immediately! He wiped his hands clean knowing he needed a fresh start turned back to music and recorded his first album titled “The Beginning Of The End” which became a huge success! Was this his calling in life and what would happen next?
After falling in love with a high school sweetheart he became a father of a beautiful baby boy Kharter Joseph Peters. Knowing he must now provide for his family he took a job as a gas attendant/ weekend manager and thought he had it all made until it was decided that his girlfriend and himself were on 2 different paths of life and went their separate ways. Now just like his father, Robert could only see his son 4 times a month and became heartbroken once again.
Knowing his son Kharter would need stability he fought hard to find his own place but with no money and less luck he moved back in with his mother. Now once again trying to pick himself back up he got back into the music and started writing three songs a day and recording for four hours a week. After building a relationship with a girl in his neighbourhood he was about to become a father of two. On May third, 2010 Lexi Shannon Peters was born and Robert was the father of a baby girl, but due to complications his daughter only survived for twenty-five hours and Roberts world had fallen apart! He became a man that he never wanted to be and a person no one wanted around.
My goal and drive is to tour the world, doing concerts through the great dedication of my label I signed to Dtower Entertainment and Records and through the persistence and dedication of my manager Big Dru. We will tour Africa Asia East Asia Australia South America North America Europe.
"In music we struggle to stay in the spotlight, and in life we fight to stay away from the light! But like life we go into this industry not knowing what we will become or how big we can become. But at the end of the day the goal is to look at your reflection and know exactly who the person is staring back at you. No matter what knocks me down i'll get up and when the fight comes strong i'll never let up!"
